Arcitecta is returning to Supercomputing Asia 2026 to share our vision for elegant, intelligent research data management. At a time when data is growing in volume, complexity, and value, Mediaflux® brings balance to the research ecosystem, connecting people, instruments, storage, and compute into a unified, metadata-rich environment. Built for HPC-scale workloads and diverse, data-intensive disciplines, Mediaflux transforms data from a static burden into a living, dynamic asset that accelerates discovery.
Join Us at the Managing and Sharing Large Scientific Data Sets Birds of a Feather (BoF)
January 29, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
12F Conference Hall
Osaka International Convention Center
Robert Mollard, Arcitecta’s Global Business Development Lead, will participate in the Managing and Sharing Large Scientific Data Sets Birds of a Feather (BoF) session at SCA26.
This BoF focuses on the challenges of sharing large volumes of scientific data and will explore practical techniques, methods, and software to address them. The goal of the session is to better understand contemporary practices for sharing research data collections, particularly in environments where data is analysed or consumed through HPC workflows and software. By doing so, the session aims to foster improved collaboration and shared understanding among research organisations managing large data holdings.
The session will be consultative and highly interactive, with short, focused presentations to set the scene, followed by audience Q&A and an open, panel-led discussion.
The Art of Balance
At Arcitecta, we believe powerful software should be both functional and beautiful. Our philosophy blends engineering rigour with thoughtful design, a harmony reflected in how Mediaflux manages complexity with clarity, purpose, and precision.
Mediaflux is engineered to:
automatically capture rich metadata for millions to billions of files
unify storage through a metadata-aware global namespace
automate workflows, tiering, governance, and data decisioning
preserve high-value data for long-term reuse and reproducibility
The result is a platform that adapts elegantly to your research workflows — not the other way around.
Where Creativity
Meets Precision
Just as artists find structure within complexity, Mediaflux brings order to expanding research datasets. It allows researchers to find, trust, reuse, and share data effortlessly, while giving administrators the control and visibility needed to maintain security, provenance, and governance.
In supercomputing, life sciences, geospatial research, engineering, and computational science, among other industries, Mediaflux provides a stable foundation for the next generation of data-driven innovation.

Digital Preservation is Going Mainstream
Visit the Arcitecta booth to see Cerabyte showcase its breakthrough long-term storage technology and hear our joint story on why digital preservation can no longer be treated as a niche problem.
Research data is now routinely kept for decades, reshaping expectations around storage cost, sustainability, and lifecycle management. Together, Arcitecta and Cerabyte are connecting active HPC workflows with ultra-long-lived, energy-efficient archival storage.
Digital preservation isn’t a future concern; it’s a strategic decision institutions need to address today.
