As a Software Engineer (JavaScript UI Developer) at Arcitecta, you will work alongside a team of highly skilled developers to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance beautiful, creative and user-friends UIs and UI features.

This permanent opportunity with the option of an immediate start will suit a talented and enthusiastic JavaScript UI designer with a passion for design and tackling new challenges.

• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables for interesting, challenging and often group-breaking projects.
• Proactively identify new and emerging trends and pioneer ways to implements them.
• Use your UI and Full Stack expertise to solve issues.

• Australian citizen, permanent residency or a visa with the right to work in Australia.
• Degree in Computer Science.
• Demonstratable understanding of both browser DOM, APIs and modern accessible and semantic HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• Experience writing Vanilla ES6/7 JavaScript SPAs.
• Experience writing in Vanilla ES6/7 JavaScript SPAs.
• Extensive experience with CSS, especially in the context of designing and building responsive application UIs.
• Experience with component-based frameworks (e.g. React, Angular or Vue), npm, Webpack or other build/packing tools, Java and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge in using the major cloud services (e.g. AWS, Google, Azure).
• Ability to argue for or against any tech/design decision in a compelling and objective way.
• Commitment to team and collaboration, perfect communication and ability to produce a quality product.
