Requirements

  • Demonstrable familiarity and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven ability to implement designs with attention to detail.
  • Proven preference for pragmatism over dogma - you should be able to argue for or against any design decision in a cogent and objective way.
  • Proactively identify new and emerging trends and suggest ways how we can use them.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Native English speaker or very good functional English.

Your role

The position of Creative Officer involves, but is not limited to, the following activities and tasks:

  • Meeting with Arcitecta project owners to briefings on concepts they want to communicate and note their requirements.
  • Determining strategies to deliver a clear message to a particular target audience in discussion with the marketing team.
  • Preparing layouts or mock-ups of a design using illustration, text, photography, colour and computer generated imagery, video.
  • Presenting designs for approval and feedback.
  • Organising the production of proofs and liaising with suppliers.
  • Preparing designs for digital or print.
  • Ensuring all materials reflect the corporate brand and are of high quality.
  • Support the operation of the corporate image and file library.
  • Provide project support as required.
  • Provide artwork to meet printing requirements for printers and external consultants.
  • Other duties as directed by your manager taking into consideration relevant skills/knowledge.
  • Provide support to the organisation’s websites, and the use of social media channels, as required.
  • Provision of web ready files and format for online/digital media.
