In the meantime, CAReHR at The Royal Melbourne Hospital is into its second year of managing patient and visit data, and collating valuable cohort information for researchers.

CAReHR, the Clinical Audit Research electronic Health Record provides:

    • An electronic health record that can easily be configured by clinicians, according to patient group and emerging clinical issues, without needing specialist IT staff to change the system
    • Computerised clinical notes, patient care summaries, and pathology requests
    • One-click creation of documentation for records management
    • One-click creation of patient summaries for general practitioners, and translated problem lists, which are given to patients to help them manage their ongoing health and understand the range of treatments being provided.
